Charles Huenemann

Charlie Huenemann earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and his Ph. D in Philosophy from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He joined the Philosophy program at USU in 1994, and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2000. In addition to publishing numerous essays on the history of philosophy, he is the co-editor of New Essays on the Rationalists (Oxford, 1999), the editor of Interpreting Spinoza (Cambridge, 2008), and the author of Understanding Rationalism (Acumen, 2008). He recently completed a book manuscript on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, and is now working on a book about Benedict de Spinoza's theology.
