The Fellowship includes:

  • three-year annual stipend of $30,000
  • $10,500 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees
  • a one-time $1,000 international travel allowance
  • the freedom to conduct research at any accredited U.S., or foreign institution of graduate education they choose
     

To be eligible, you must be:

  • a US citizen, US national or permanent resident alien, and
  • a graduating senior; have completed a B.S./B.A. degree; or are in their 1st year or the first semester of their 2nd year in graduate school, and
  • pursuing a research-based master's or doctoral degree in the sciences, technology, mathematics or social sciences.
     

You can apply if:

  • are currently in your final year of your undergraduate program
  • finished your baccalaureate degree and are planning to attend graduate school in Fall 2010
  • are a first year graduate student (started in Fall 2009), or
  • are in the first semester of your second year in graduate school (started Fall 2008)


These workshops, sponsored by the School of Graduate Studies, are open to students in all disciplines and will provide valuable information about the application and review process for these fellowships.
